ESG Security was established in August 1988 by its current Managing Director, David Hoey. After leaving the Royal Marine’s David began his security career in 1987, working as a consultant for Group 4 Falck, on many prestigious UK government contracts.

Today ESG Security is still a family-owned business, and has provided security services to corporate clients for nearly 30 years. David’s emphasis for ESG Security has always been about delivering a consistent, high quality service and winning contracts on advantageous terms.

Over the course of the last 30 years, we have developed a reputation for giving our all on projects, and providing customers with exactly what they need. Our clients recognise the professionalism of ESG Security, from the quality of our officers to our technical know-how.

Despite competing in a highly competitive industry, ESG Security have maintained a structured growth. ESG Security has forged strong relationships with our clients, many of whom have been with us for 10 years or more. We have a portfolio of 300 customers, who benefit from our near 30 years of expertise in the security market.

ESG Security comply with all government security initiatives and to this end, ESG Security are part of the Security Industry Authority’s – Approved Contractor Scheme (SIA ACS). The scheme is independently run by the Security Industry Authority (SIA). ESG Security support and uphold the SIA’s mission to reduce criminality, raise standards and recognise quality service within the private security industry.

ESG Security are also accredited by the National Security Inspectorate, as part of their Guarding Gold standard. For our customers this means the assurance of a top quality service, independently inspected every couple of months, with guarantees we adhere to the highest standards.
